A blossoming Elderflower with leaves, found beneath the tree after a windy few days on the west coast of Scotland. Carefully pressed for several weeks before undergoing the ‘wet’ cyanotype process. This involved spraying the light sensitive cyanotype solution onto 300 g watercolour papere to give a diffuse, spattered effect before laying the pressed Elderflower on top and adding some soap bubbles before exposing it under glass for several hours in my garden. A very pretty blue-green result with soap bubbles adding lots of interest around the plant outline. A one of a kind original artwork, perfect gift for a gardener or nature lover.
Presented ready to frame in a cream 10 × 12” card mount with backing card in a cello bag. Posted 2nd class in a protective card backed envelope.
