These pretty leaves came from a red Acer tree in my garden and were pressed for several weeks before being used to create this cyanotype. This is an original artwork, not a reproduction, truly one of a kind.
Heavyweight watercolour paper was coated with light sensitive cyanotype solution and whilst still wet, the pressed leaves were added and spoonfuls of soap bubbles applied around the leaves. Exposure of 3-4 hours of sunlight in my garden resulted in this beautiful aqua-blue print clearly showing lots of soap bubbles - a really interesting effect which will result in your friends puzzling over how this was achieved!
Presented ready to frame in a cream 8 × 10” card mount with backing card, in a cello bag. posted 2nd class mail in a protective card backed envelope.
