An original cyanotype of a leaf was bleached to remove most of the blue colour, dried and then recoated with more light sensitive cyanotype solution. A different leaf was then added along with soap bubbles before exposing the whole for 3-4 hours under sunlight in my garden. Once the leaf was removed and the print fixed under running water, some of the bleached colour remained from the first printing, giving a very unusual effect enhanced by the captured soap bubbles.
The card is blank inside.
This white, 300gsm aperture card measures 13.5×13.5cm and comes with a white envelope in a cellophane bag and will be posted second class in a protective card backed envelope.
